Why everyone (else) is a hypocrite? Book Review
I have never been compelled to lie. An even if I did, I really don’t see the great benefit of it. Some people perfect their lying as they grow up to a point that they even expect everybody to believe them. Truth will always surface and those lied to will only be discontented about it. But why do people have the need to lie? And if they do so unintentionally, what makes it happen? Robert Kurzban tries to explain how this happens in the modular mind with his title Why everyone [else] is a hypocrite? I read this book on a Sunday and while I do not necessarily agree with his point of view, Kurzban makes a more than interesting behavioral theory.
